We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Aide to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with mental health issues. As a Residential Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting them with supervision and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including meal preparation and personal care, in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Monitor residents’ well-being and document observations to ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Administer or monitor medications according to prescribed guidelines while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being and community integration.
- Implement behavior management and support strategies as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents.
- Utilize agency systems to document care provided and resident progress.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with individuals with mental health or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication, observation, and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing quality care.
Requirements
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Support residents in developing independent living skills.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
- Provide supervision and always ensure resident safety.
- Document daily progress notes and report any changes in behavior or condition.
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, and state regulations.
- Ability to perform first aid and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Experience with home & community care or group home settings is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license may be required for transportation needs.
- Knowledge of social work principles is a plus but not mandatory.

Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time and part-time positions available.
- 1099 position
- Shifts: 7–3, 3–11, 11–7 AM
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience from $17 per hour.
- Overnight staff receive a pay differential.
