Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavioral therapy strategies under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role involves providing direct support, collecting data on client progress, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, focusing on improving social skills, communication, and daily living activities.
- Collect and maintain accurate data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
- Assist in the development of treatment plans based on patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Maintain medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development related to applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging environment for clients to thrive.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles, particularly applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
