Position Summary
Join Chang & Associates Behavior Consulting (CABC), a thriving, family-centered ABA community redefining what compassionate, science-based care looks like.
As a Behavior Analyst Trainee (BAT), you’ll work directly with clients with developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings. Under BCBA supervision, you’ll implement individualized ABA programs, collect data, and build the advanced clinical and leadership skills needed to become a confident and competent practicing BCBA.
You’ll gain exposure to assessments, parent coaching, RBT supervision, and data-driven decision-making, developing both technical excellence and a deep understanding of family-centered care.

What You’ll Do
- Implement individualized treatment programs and behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
 - Collect and analyze data to measure progress and guide treatment decisions.
 - Assist in training and supporting Behavior Interventionists (BIs) in the delivery of high-quality ABA services.
 - Participate in parent coaching sessions and team meetings.
 - Assist with behavioral assessments, program materials, and progress report preparation.
 - Collaborate professionally with families, schools, and interdisciplinary teams.
 - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and clinical standards.
 
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required.
 - Completing at least 50% of a Master’s degree program in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field is required for BCBA preparation.
 - Minimum two (2) years of ABA experience in clinical, school, or home settings.
 - An active registered behavior technician (RBT) credential is required.
 - Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
 - Commitment to professional growth and mastery of clinical competencies.
 - Fewer than 500 supervised fieldwork hours remaining toward BCBA certification preferred.
 
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $60,340.80 – $69,680.00 annually (exempt, full-time), based on experience and education level.
