Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans and support their growth and development. You will play a crucial role in promoting positive behavior change and enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role is for an in-person in-home position only Monday through Friday 3:30PM to 8PM (open for discussion for the right candidate).

About the Company

Soaring Sprouts LLC is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst owned, small company providing in-home services to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities. Led by a dedicated BCBA who combines clinical expertise with a strong commitment to advocacy, we provide individualized, evidence-based ABA services that support children in reaching their fullest potential. With a tight-knit staff of dedicated professionals, we ensure consistency, attentiveness, and a warm therapeutic relationship in every session—because every child deserves a team that truly knows and cares for them. We envision a world where every child with neurodiversity is celebrated, supported, and empowered to soar. At Soaring Sprouts, therapy isn’t just about skill acquisition—it’s about cultivating confidence, compassion, and lifelong growth.

Duties

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Run skill acquisition programs using evidence-based teaching strategies (e.g., discrete trial training, natural environment teaching) and collect data in the moment.
  • Complete session notes and documentation promptly and professionally.
  • Implement proactive and reactive strategies outlined in the client’s Behavior Intervention Plan. Respond to challenging behavior using trained strategies (e.g., differential reinforcement, extinction procedures, prompting).
  • Follow the RBT Ethics Code and comply with BACB requirements. Maintain confidentiality (HIPAA compliance). Work only under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA.
  • Maintain ongoing collaboration with BCBA and caregivers for generalization of skills.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and techniques.
  • Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum required.
  • Proficiency in data collection methods related to applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve by applying your skills as a Behavior Technician!

Preferred Candidate

Applicants who are RBT certified and seeking to accrue supervised fieldwork hours toward BCBA or BCaBA certification are strongly encouraged to apply. At Soaring Sprouts, we value supporting future behavior analysts by providing high-quality supervision, hands-on training, and professional growth opportunities within a compassionate, child-centered environment.
