The Opportunity: Outpatient SUD Therapist

We're looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our clinical team and work specifically with clients in our Outpatient SUD Program (IOP/OP). This is a crucial role where you will support individuals as they transition from intensive care or stabilize their commitment to a sober lifestyle, integrating recovery skills into their daily lives, work, and family structure.

The ideal candidate holds an active ACSW, AMFT, LCSW, or LMFT credential in California and has hands-on experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):

• Facilitate engaging and impactful individual and group therapy sessions focusing on relapse prevention, coping skills development, trauma-informed care, and lifestyle integration.
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop flexible, client-centered treatment plans that address both SUD and co-occurring mental health needs.
• Utilize a range of evidence-based techniques (including CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), etc.) to empower clients in maintaining long-term recovery.
• Provide essential case management services and collaborate with community resources (employment, housing, primary care) to support a successful transition to independence.
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless continuum of care for clients transitioning in and out of various program levels.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation and medical records in accordance with state and federal regulations.

What You'll Bring (Required Qualifications):

• Active California registration or licensure as an ACSW, AMFT, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Previous experience in substance use treatment or co-occurring disorders is strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical acumen, excellent communication skills, and meticulous clinical documentation abilities.
• The ability to thrive and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus!
