Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RBT Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional behavioral health services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on client assessments and goals, ensuring alignment with best practices in behavioral health and special education.
- Use behavioral therapy techniques to teach new skills, reinforce positive behaviors, and reduce challenging behaviors through consistent application of behavior management strategies.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including hygiene, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks to promote independence.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress during sessions to monitor effectiveness of interventions and inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior logs, and treatment reports, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and medical professionals—to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Educate families and caregivers on behavior management techniques, teaching strategies, and progress updates to support consistency across environments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies related to patient care, medical records management, and privacy regulations such as HIPAA.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods.
- Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing behavioral interventions in clinical or educational settings is advantageous.
- Background in special education or behavioral health fields is desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and care planning processes will support effective service delivery.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
