Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RBT Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional behavioral health services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement evidence-based interventions rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to promote positive behavior change, enhance communication skills, and support independence. Your energetic approach will help foster a nurturing environment where clients can thrive and reach their full potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working within a collaborative, supportive team.

Duties

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on client assessments and goals, ensuring alignment with best practices in behavioral health and special education.
  • Use behavioral therapy techniques to teach new skills, reinforce positive behaviors, and reduce challenging behaviors through consistent application of behavior management strategies.
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including hygiene, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks to promote independence.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress during sessions to monitor effectiveness of interventions and inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior logs, and treatment reports, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and medical professionals—to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each individual’s needs.
  • Educate families and caregivers on behavior management techniques, teaching strategies, and progress updates to support consistency across environments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies related to patient care, medical records management, and privacy regulations such as HIPAA.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods.
  • Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing behavioral interventions in clinical or educational settings is advantageous.
  • Background in special education or behavioral health fields is desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and care planning processes will support effective service delivery.
  • Patience, empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations are essential qualities for success in this role. Join us in creating a positive impact through compassionate care and innovative behavioral strategies!
