REQUIREMENTS
- School Psychologist State Certification
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and support the implementation of individualized, evidence-based interventions that promote academic success and emotional well-being.
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to help students manage challenges and build coping strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate psychological and behavioral supports into the educational environment.
- Participate in IEP and other multidisciplinary team meetings, providing clear reports, recommendations, and updates on student progress.
- Monitor and evaluate student outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed in collaboration with the educational team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including assessment reports, intervention plans, and compliance records.
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology through ongoing professional development and research.
