Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Richardson, TX

Pay: From $38-$41/hr, based off experience

Blazer Jobs is interviewing experienced Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) for a full-time school-based role in Richardson, Texasa thriving suburb of Dallas known for its excellent schools and diverse community. The selected counselor will provide emotional and behavioral support services that help students overcome barriers to learning and thrive in both academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group counseling to students facing social, academic, or behavioral challenges.

  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention and support plans.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote emotional wellness and school success.

  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all district and state regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid Texas LPC license from the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.

  • Masters degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.

  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.

  • Must pass Texas Education Agency background clearance.
