We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Care Advocates to join our team in downtown Dallas for a start date of November 24th. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the full care coordination for our members, serving as their primary point of contact through their healthcare journey (via telephone).

Location: This role is fully onsite in downtown Dallas.
- Hybrid Opportunity: Employees can apply for hybrid consideration (up to two days at home) after nine months of employment, provided they consistently meet performance metrics for three consecutive months.
Schedule: Monday-Friday.
- A schedule will be assigned randomly after the third week of training - candidates must be open to receiving any 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM for their assigned schedule.
- Alaska Shift: Employees will work one remote "Alaska shift" from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM once a month, for which they will receive 30 days' notice.
Compensation & Bonus Pay Opportunity:
- Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour.
- Overtime: As an hourly position, this role is eligible for overtime.
- Bonus Opportunity: Employees are also eligible to earn an additional $500 to $1,000 per month based on performance, starting 90 days after hiring. Performance indicators include case-to-consult ratios, scheduling speed, audit success, and overall quality.
Role Overview: The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is compassionate, well-organized, and passionate about helping people through challenging healthcare situations. You’ll be a key part of supporting members through a critical part of their healthcare journey, making sure everything goes smoothly from beginning to end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary Point of Contact: Manage full care coordination, maintaining regular and supportive communication with members.
- Member Education & Support: Educate members on surgical services, assist with provider selection, and schedule all procedures and follow-up appointments.
- Caseload Management: Oversee a dynamic caseload, building to an average of 90 members at various stages of their care journey.
- Provider Communication: Request medical records, confirm insurance, and verify appointment details with provider offices on behalf of members.
- Travel Coordination: Assist with coordinating all necessary travel accommodations, including hotels, flights, and car rentals.
- Data Management: Log all member interactions and information accurately into the company’s CRM system.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare capacity is highly preferred. We are also open to recent graduates with a healthcare-related degree who are eager to make an immediate impact within healthcare.
- Communication: Must be comfortable and professional on the phones, as this position requires extensive communication with both patients and provider offices. Strong verbal and written grammar skills are essential.
- Resilience: Must be able to react well in stressful situations and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Multitasking: Proven ability to juggle multiple member cases simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of care and organization.
