PMHNP Remote - Dual Diagnosis - Adolescent Psychiatry

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Remote (Part-Time, 20 hrs/week)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to teen girls in a dual diagnosis setting. This role focuses on treating patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The position is 100% remote and offers a flexible schedule totaling 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions for adolescent female patients.
• Diagnose and treat co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families on medication, diagnosis, and recovery strategies.
• Monitor medication efficacy, side effects, and patient progress.
• Document all encounters in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case reviews via telehealth.

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted PMHNP license in [State(s)].
• DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with adolescents or dual diagnosis populations preferred.
• Comfortable using telepsychiatry platforms and EMR systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Schedule & Compensation:

• 20 hours per week, flexible schedule.
• Fully remote.
