Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Remote (Part-Time, 20 hrs/week)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to teen girls in a dual diagnosis setting. This role focuses on treating patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The position is 100% remote and offers a flexible schedule totaling 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions for adolescent female patients.
- Diagnose and treat co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and families on medication, diagnosis, and recovery strategies.
- Monitor medication efficacy, side effects, and patient progress.
- Document all encounters in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
- Participate in regular team meetings and case reviews via telehealth.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted PMHNP license in [State(s)].
- DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with adolescents or dual diagnosis populations preferred.
- Comfortable using telepsychiatry platforms and EMR systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Schedule & Compensation:
