Duties
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy to clients across the lifespan, based on areas of training and competence.
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to gather presenting concerns, history, and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based and culturally responsive approaches.
- Deliver psychotherapy using clinically appropriate modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic, trauma-informed, or integrative techniques).
- Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Manage crisis situations calmly and effectively, following practice and ethical protocols.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries) in accordance with professional, ethical, and legal standards.
- Utilize the electronic health record (EHR) system to document sessions, treatment plans, and communication.
- Protect client confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines set by the relevant licensing board.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Master’s degree and Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) or Specialist (Ed.S.) in School Psychology.
- Certified or eligible for state certification as a School Psychologist.
- Limited Permit
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
