Salary: $2,964.00 Weekly Pay
Shift: Full-time, 6-9 month contract with potential extension

Job Overview:
This position provides clinical therapy and counseling services within a correctional facility setting, focusing on the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment (ISUDT) program. The role involves conducting assessments, delivering therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and successful reintegration for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide clinical treatment interventions such as brief counseling, group therapy, and individual sessions
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and coordinate with other disciplines to support holistic patient care
• Perform assessments to facilitate transitional care and link patients to community resources upon release
• Develop and contribute to treatment and care plans with attainable therapeutic goals focused on family systems and individual well-being
• Document patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and facilitate discharges and transfers as needed
• Attend case conferences, meetings, and required trainings
• Ensure compliance with clinical and ethical standards in a correctional healthcare environment

Required Qualifications:

• Valid California Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
• Minimum of 12 continuous months of experience within the last 3 years providing direct patient care in a public or private institution
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Valid government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or Passport)
• Current clinical competencies
