Our brand new, 15-bed, mental health facility is located in Orangevale, Ca. Our inpatient facility serves voluntary clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff.

Position Available:

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise Resident Assistants, Certified Nursing Assistants, Mental Health Technicians/Workers and Medication Technicians, non-licensed medical staff in the day-to-day delivery of patient care, in collaboration with and in the absence of the RN.

  • Prepare and review medical documentation, nurses’ notes to evaluate the patient’s physical and emotional status.

  • Oversee medical staff on duty and audit/review charts daily.

  • Provide nursing care according to the Physician’s orders, care plans, established standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Prepare and monitor patient-administered medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.

  • Sign, date, and perform all charting, record keeping, and care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Provide outstanding individual patient care.

  • Communicate with the patient’s family regarding care, and answer questions if applicable

  • Ensure correct ordering of medications has taken place

  • Assist with the monthly schedule and call-offs

  • Ability to work with a patient population of addiction medicine and mental health.

  • Other duties as assigned


Education and minimum qualification:

  • Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN or LPT) license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Expert communication skills and counseling abilities
  • Ability to coordinate with professionals from diverse backgrounds, working at a distinct level
  • Commitment to the philosophy of recovery, the program's continuity, and consideration and respect for patients.
  • Customer service oriented, professional attitude
  • Health screen/ drug screen / TB test
