Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) to provide clinical services to youth in a school-based setting. The clinician will deliver individual and family therapy, collaborate with school personnel, and coordinate care through a telehealth partnership with NYU providers. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and adolescents while working as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide clinical services to students in grades K–12 within a school-based environment
• Maintain an active caseload of approximately 25–30 students
• Participate in all admissions alongside the child, family, and telehealth MD through NYU
• Collaborate with NYU telehealth fellows to address treatment needs
• Deliver individual and family therapy and crisis intervention as needed
• Engage in collateral communication with the school district and external agencies involved in each youth’s care
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team
• Advocate for youth and families to access community-based support and services
• Maintain timely, accurate medical record documentation
• Coordinate and facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care
• Work closely with school liaisons to ensure an efficient referral and screening process

Qualifications:

• Active LMSW or LCSW license in New York State (required)
• Experience providing clinical services to youth and families preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
