Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and scholarly inclined Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychotherapy and mental health counseling, with a focus on providing high-quality care to individuals and families. This role involves developing treatment plans, delivering effective therapeutic (short term and long term) and mentoring/supervising unlicensed staff. The LMFT will work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Please note, this is salaried position (range of $6671.45-$8034.43 monthly based on training and experience).

Responsibilities

• Be academic/scholarly inclined.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Serve as a professional mentor and supervise interns/ unlicensed staff.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for patients dealing with issues such as PTSD, addiction, and behavioral health challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.
• Participate in case consultation and trainings.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Stay informed about best practices in the field of mental health/behavioral sciences and relevant medical terminology.

Requirement

• Must be licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Health (LMFT)
