Licensed Family and Marriage therapist(LMFT)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide mental health counseling and emotional support to students at a Middle School. The clinician will work collaboratively with school staff, administrators, and families to promote the well-being and academic success of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.
• Conduct mental health assessments and create treatment/intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student well-being.
• Respond to crisis situations and provide short-term stabilization and referral as needed.
• Maintain detailed and confidential case documentation in compliance with school and district standards.
• Participate in Student Support Team (SST), IEP, and intervention meetings as required.
• Provide consultation and guidance to school staff regarding mental health and behavioral strategies.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Current California LMFT license (Board of Behavioral Sciences).
• Experience working with children or adolescents in a school or clinical setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary school team.

Compensation:

• Rate: $55–$60/hr (W2)
• Full-time, onsite role for the duration of the Leave of Absence coverage.
