Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our care team at a skilled nursing facility in Temple City, CA. The Psychiatric Technician will play an essential role in supporting residents with mental health needs, providing compassionate care, and promoting a safe, therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the care and treatment of residents with mental or emotional conditions

• Observe and document behavior, progress, and response to treatment

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, under the direction of a physician or registered nurse

• Support daily living activities and maintain a calm, structured environment

• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and social services staff to support individualized care plans

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Psychiatric Technician (PT) license in California

• Experience in a skilled nursing, behavioral health, or long-term care setting preferred

• Strong observational, communication, and documentation skills

• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
