Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and providing support to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Training is provided.
Availability: Monday-Friday after school hours with possible weekends
RBT is preferred, or the individual must be willing to enroll in a free 40-hour course within the first three months of being hired.
Duties
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Provide direct support to children and individuals with disabilities in various settings.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
- Assist in patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to promote client success.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to client behavior and progress.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
