Lead direct support professionalQualifications:
- Have at least 1-year prior experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, with a focus on behavioral services.
- Posess valid RBT certifiicate (with supervision).
- A minimum of 3 months of supervisory experience. Initial competency verification–complete DSP I and DSP II within the first year of employment, monthly training with administrator to enhance communication skills, decision making, creative thinking, analysis/reasoning, monthly training and supervision with the BCBA to renew RBT yearly.
- 16 hours of emergency intervention training within first 80 hours of employment and annually thereafter.
- Current First Aid CPR prior to providing direct care to individuals and renew annuallymust be hands on in person.
Duties:
- Serve as a leader to the DSPs.
- Will be responsible for the operation of the facility during the assigned shift.
- Will provide support to the individuals in accomplishing his/her IPP goals.
- Will provide the safety and well-being for individuals and staff.
- Assist individuals with medications and doctor’s appointments.
- Assist individuals with community outings/activities.
- Assist individuals with meal planning and preparations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
