About us

We are looking for a strong BCBA for our small ABA Center in Decatur! A Path Forward is proud to be the only clinician-owned ABA practice in Decatur. We are hiring with the hopes of finding a candidate who demonstrates the skills needed to soon be promoted as our Lead BCBA and Center Manager. We will also consider a hybrid position for BCBAs outside of the Decatur area.

A Path Forward provides ABA therapy to autistic children. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for every child in our care.

We take a naturalistic approach to therapy, focusing on gentle evidence-based interventions.

The position requires the following:

Values:

  • A passion for play-based therapy or a willingness to learn
  • Knowledge in trauma-informed care or willingness to learn
  • Neurodiversity-affirming and willingness to receive ongoing education in this area

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for children with ASD.
  • Provide individualized behavioral therapy to clients, implementing evidence-based strategies and interventions.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and generalization of skills across settings.
  • Train and supervise behavior technicians or other staff members working with clients.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis.

Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Experience working with children with special needs, particularly in the field of behavioral therapy.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • Strong data collection and analysis skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
