About us

We are looking for a strong BCBA for our small ABA Center in Decatur! A Path Forward is proud to be the only clinician-owned ABA practice in Decatur. We are hiring with the hopes of finding a candidate who demonstrates the skills needed to soon be promoted as our Lead BCBA and Center Manager. We will also consider a hybrid position for BCBAs outside of the Decatur area.

A Path Forward provides ABA therapy to autistic children. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for every child in our care.

We take a naturalistic approach to therapy, focusing on gentle evidence-based interventions.

The position requires the following:

Knowledge in trauma-informed care or willingness to learn
Neurodiversity-affirming and willingness to receive ongoing education in this area

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for children with ASD.
Provide individualized behavioral therapy to clients, implementing evidence-based strategies and interventions.
Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and generalization of skills across settings.
Train and supervise behavior technicians or other staff members working with clients.
Stay current with research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis.

Experience:

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
Experience working with children with special needs, particularly in the field of behavioral therapy.
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
Strong data collection and analysis skills.
