Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Healthcare Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare agency by providing exceptional administrative support. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and office procedures, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals.

Duties

  • Manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and follow-up
  • Assist in maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare providers, including preparing documents and reports
  • Communicate with patients regarding their care, answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Coordinate with insurance companies for verification of benefits and claims processing
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the office environment
  • Support dental office operations as needed, including patient intake and treatment coordination

Skills

  • Proven experience in a medical office setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology to facilitate effective communication
  • Strong background in medical administrative support, enhancing operational efficiency
  • General office experience, including proficiency in office software applications
  • Previous experience in a dental office is a plus, contributing to comprehensive patient care
