About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join a new and exciting venture with Applied ABA Therapy! We are opening an ABA-based classroom inside a local daycare, designed to provide high-quality behavioral and educational support for young learners.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Edison, NJ. This role offers the chance to help shape a new program, oversee RBTs, and support curriculum development and implementation within a collaborative, child-centered environment.

In addition to this new classroom setting, there are also opportunities to support children in mainstream educational environments who benefit from behavioral and social–emotional guidance. This hybrid role combines on-site school/daycare visits with remote work for supervision, data analysis, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee RBTs and ensure quality implementation of ABA programs.
• Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Support curriculum design and classroom implementation in the ABA-based daycare setting.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and analyze data to inform programming.
• Collaborate with teachers, daycare staff, and families to support student success.
• Provide staff training, consultation, and ongoing professional support.
• Participate in opportunities to work with students in regular education classrooms.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current BCBA certification (in good standing with the BACB).
• NJ State licensure as a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Experience in school, daycare, or early intervention settings preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel within Edison, NJ.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a BCBA, with a proven track record of developing and implementing ABA programs for individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities.
• Experience supervising and training RBTs or other paraprofessionals in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland) and data collection platforms (e.g., Central Reach, Catalyst, Rethink).
