Job Title: Female Caregiver for Client with Parkinson's

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female caregiver to provide personalized support to a male client living with Parkinson's disease. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with Parkinson's and a strong commitment to improving the client’s quality of life. This role requires someone who is reliable, patient, and sensitive to the client's needs in an apartment setting.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Saturdays 9AM-5PM
• Pay: $15–$17 per hour (based on experience), paid weekly
• Location: Plano

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide personal care, emotional support, and companionship to enhance the client’s well-being
• Safely assist with client transfers
• Calmly redirect and manage behaviors when the client becomes combative or agitated
• Follow a detailed care plan and maintain the client’s daily routine
• Document and write detailed care notes after each shift
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

Requirements:

• Female caregiver (due to client preference)
• Prior experience in caregiving, home health, or related fields
• Experience with Parkinson’s disease or similar neurological conditions is required
• Strong written communication skills for accurate care documentation
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a commitment to respecting the client's dignity

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous caregiving experience in long-term care, hospice, or disability support
• Ability to monitor basic health and make appropriate observations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
