Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in the Denton, TX area. In this part-time role, you will support the academic, behavioral, and emotional success of students through assessments, counseling, and collaboration with educational staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students learning and behavioral needs

  • Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

  • Provide individual and group counseling services to support students mental health and social-emotional growth

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective support strategies

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings

  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and district policies

  • Offer consultation and professional development to staff on best practices for supporting student well-being

Requirements

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field

  • Valid Texas licensure/certification as a School Psychologist (LSSP)

  • Experience conducting evaluations and writing psychological reports

  • Strong understanding of special education laws and procedures

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative educational team
