Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Independent Contractor

Location: Hoboken, NJ (Hybrid: In-Person + Telehealth)

Job Type: Flexible| Independent Contractor (1099)

Nurturing Life Counseling, LLC is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing group psychotherapy practice. The LCSW will provide direct clinical services and clinical supervision as part of a collaborative team. This part-time 1099 role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with both individual clients and supervise pre-licensed clinicians (LSWs) seeking hours toward clinical licensure.

• Provide individual, couples, or family therapy to clients via in-person and telehealth sessions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the practice's EHR (SimplePractice)
• Maintain clinical and ethical compliance in line with New Jersey licensure board standards
• Participate in periodic team meetings or case consultations
• Commit to at least one in-person day weekly at the Hoboken office and maintain a consistent caseload
• Coordinate care with external providers when necessary

Education & Licensure:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
• Current and unrestricted LCSW license in the State of New Jersey

Insurance & Compliance:

• Active professional liability insurance ($1M/$3M minimum)
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills

Supervision & Support:

• Demonstrated commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care

• Specialized training in CBT, DBT, trauma, child therapy, short-term EAP or couples therapy
• Familiarity with documentation best practices and use of telehealth platforms

• $90.00 to $110.00 per 60-minute session, depending on caseload
• 65/35 split for out-of-network sessions (LCSW retains 65%)
• Referrals and client matching provided
• Fully furnished office space with coffee and networking events
• HIPAA-compliant EHR and telehealth system (SimplePractice)
• Flexible, hybrid scheduling

• Hybrid (telehealth and in-person at Hoboken, NJ office) (1 day a week)
