Pharmacy Care Coordinator
Location: San Antonio, TX 78257 (Onsite)

Type: Full-time, Contract (Non-IT)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, prefer someone with flexibility to work outside of 8-5, or as late as a 3p-11p shift etc. (40 hours per week)

Position Overview

The Pharmacy Care Coordinator supports the implementation and execution of pharmacy programs and ensures all operational processes are met efficiently. This role assists pharmacy staff in daily operations, member eligibility reviews, and resolving issues that arise during outreach calls.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team in coordinating and executing pharmacy care programs.
• Determine eligibility for members applying to the Medical Assistance Program (MAP).
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving member issues identified during outreach.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of program activities.
• Serve as a resource or subject matter expert for other Pharmacy Care Coordinators on the Quality Pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, or customer service environment preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
