Contract Type: Full-Time Contract
Shift Type: AM Shift (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm)
Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
Candidate Pay Rate: $111K – $147K/year (based on experience)
About the Role
We’re seeking a compassionate and driven Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join a hybrid behavioral health team serving diverse and underserved communities across San Diego County. This role blends in-person and telehealth care, offering flexibility while delivering high-impact services to adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 1-hour intakes and 30–45 minute therapy sessions (avg. 11–12/day)
- Deliver hybrid care: 3 days in-office (potentially 2 in future), remainder via telehealth
- Provide therapy for adolescents and adults, with a focus on adult care
- Address mild to moderate concerns (FQHC) and moderate to severe needs (CCBHC)
- Offer weekly therapy for pregnant and postpartum patients (CCBHC)
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in peer reviews, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and ethical standards
Qualifications
- Active California license as a Clinical Psychologist (LMFTs not accepted)
- Spanish fluency required
- Experience in outpatient community mental health preferred
- Experience with children ages 5+, especially under 10, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and perinatal mental health is a plus
Education
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution
- Completion of supervised clinical training and licensure requirements

- Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload with empathy and efficiency
- Culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care approach
- Proficient in EMR systems and telehealth platforms
