We are seeking a dedicated Licensed *Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)* to join our dynamic rehabilitation psychology therapy team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary staff, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and effective therapeutic support to individuals undergoing rehabilitation.
Founded in 1955 Dignity Health – Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 394-bed acute care nonprofit community hospital located in Northridge California. The hospital offers a full complement of award winning services including the Leavey Cancer Center a cardiovascular center stroke center the Center for Assault Treatment Services a pediatric medical center and the only pediatric trauma center in the San Fernando Valley. *Pay Range*
$47.31 - $70.38 /hour
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed *Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)* to join our dynamic rehabilitation psychology therapy team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary staff, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and effective therapeutic support to individuals undergoing rehabilitation.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand the unique needs and challenges of clients in rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the rehabilitation team.
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to address emotional, behavioral, and social aspects of rehabilitation.
- Offer support and counseling to clients and their families to facilitate adjustment to life changes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical staff, to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- At least 1 year of clinical and/or medical social work experience required.
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Advanced degree with field placement or job experience in hospital health, mental health, or related settings.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan.
- Must possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
- Bilingual Ability (Spanish & English) preferred.
- Management of Assaultive Behavior class required.
- Must be a California State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Must maintain current Fire Safety cards.
