Eligibility Focused

Stockton, CA

Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

$125k-$140k


Role Summary:

We are actively interviewing for full-time Psychologists to join our team in Stockton, California. This role offers a unique opportunity to support individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs through intake and eligibility review process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct file reviews and psychological evaluations for individuals referred through intake or case management, determining eligibility and diagnostic needs.
  • Collaborate with intake teams and the Intake Manager to review cases, discuss Lanterman Act eligibility, and plan appropriate initial services.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and staffings to support eligibility determinations and coordinate ongoing services for consumers.
  • Prepare for and participate in informal and formal fair hearings, providing professional input and documentation as needed.
  • Deliver training and guidance to intake and Early Start staff on assessment tools and eligibility protocols
  • Engage in ongoing collaboration and case review with intake specialists to ensure consistent, accurate, and equitable eligibility assessments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Psychology and active California Psychologist License.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Experience conducting psychological evaluations and assessments, including competency evaluations.
  • Training and/or experience in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) highly desired.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are welcome.
