We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavior Technician to join our expanding team in San Mateo County. If you’re passionate about meaningful client outcomes, collaborative care, and professional development, Novo is the place to grow your career.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver individualized 1:1 ABA therapy using naturalistic and play-based methods, including Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT)
- Implement treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Use daily routines, toys, and reinforcement to teach communication, daily living, and social-emotional skills
- Collect, track, and report data to monitor client progress
- Collaborate with caregivers and clinicians to ensure continuity of care
- Provide family education and support around behavior management strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Lives in or near San Mateo County
- Minimum 2 years of ABA experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- RBT certification preferred (or willingness to complete)
- MUST Have afternoon availability (3:00 PM–8:00 PM preferred)
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Tech-savvy (iPad use required)
- Physical ability to engage in play-based activities
- Open to feedback, team collaboration, and continued learning
