Home Care Intake Coordinator / Intake Sales
We’re looking for a compassionate, organized, and sales-minded Intake Coordinator/Inside Sales to be the first point of contact for families seeking home care services. In this vital role, you’ll guide clients through the intake process, assess care needs, and help match them with the right services. You’ll also play a key role in growing the business by converting inquiries into active clients and building lasting relationships with referral sources. Monday through Friday, 8a-5p. Competitive starting salary at $50K with future bonus opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of Home Care Intake Coordinator / Intake Sales:
- Serve as the first point of contact for new client inquiries via phone, email, and web leads.
- Conduct initial phone consultations to gather client and family information, assess care needs, and explain available services.
- Follow up on all leads promptly and maintain consistent communication until service starts.
- Prepare and complete intake paperwork and ensure accurate data entry into the system.
- Coordinate with scheduling and care management teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Track and manage lead activity using CRM or internal systems, ensuring timely documentation and follow-up.
- Build relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, discharge planners, physician offices, and senior living communities.
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships and generate referrals through outreach and networking.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement growth strategies.
- Maintain knowledge of company services, pricing, and service area to confidently present information to families and partners.
Qualifications of Home Care Intake Coordinator / Intake Sales:
- Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or senior services required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills — both in person and over the phone.
- Comfort with sales follow-up, client engagement, and relationship building.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple inquiries at once.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or CRM systems.
- Compassionate, professional, and confident demeanor when speaking with families.
