Full Job Description
We are looking for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide direct support to children with autism. The BCBA will work closely with parents and children to implement the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The BCBA will work closely with other ABA therapists and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child. This BCBA would need to be located near that area and willing to do in-person supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment data and evidence-based practices.
- Implement and monitor behavioral interventions in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay current with developments in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education.

- Job Type: Part-time with a potential to build caseload to full-time. Experience working directly with children with autism preferred. Experience working in a school setting preferred. Willingness to work part- time on-site in clients homes located in Yuba City California. and surrounding areas.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree or PhD in special education, psychology, or behavioral sciences.
- Current Behavior Analyst certification from the BACB or QABA.
- State License to practice as a Behavior Analyst (per state req).
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and methodologies.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis to inform treatment decisions
- Experience with patient assessment processes and diagnostic evaluations
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality and medical documentation.
- Familiarity with special education practices, particularly for individuals with autism spectrum disorders.
- Ability to understand medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Competence in maintaining organized medical records for effective patient management.
