Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals and families facing various challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of mental health, behavioral health, and community resources, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients to develop effective treatment plans.

Duties

  • Conduct assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs.
  • Provide individual and group counseling, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in distress.
  • Develop and maintain case management plans, ensuring clients receive appropriate services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in clinical research and data collection to improve service delivery.
  • Offer specialized counseling services, including addiction counseling, PTSD care, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Facilitate family counseling sessions, focusing on child and family dynamics.
  • Provide education on mental health issues and available community resources.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field is required.
  • Experience working with children, families, or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and medical documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding systems is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in crisis management, patient assessment, and behavioral therapy techniques.
  • Knowledge of special education services and experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
  • Ability to perform intake assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective client interaction.
