About Job

Make a Real Difference. Every Day.

Full-Time & Part-Time | Medical & Dental Benefits Start at 30 Hours/Week

Are you someone who thrives on helping others grow, heal, and live more independently? At The Edinburg Center, we’re looking for compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our team as Residential Counselors supporting women with mental health and behavioral health challenges.

You won’t just be clocking in and out — you’ll be empowering women to work toward their goals, build life skills, and take meaningful steps toward greater independence and self-confidence.

What You'll Do:

  • Support residents in a group living environment with empathy, consistency, and care
  • Assist with daily living skills like meal prep, hygiene, social skills, and laundry (yes, laundry matters!)
  • Provide transportation to appointments and administer medications as needed
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and advocate for the people you serve
  • Encourage growth, connection, and recovery through positive role-modeling and coaching

What You Bring:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in mental health or residential care settings (preferred but not required)
  • A valid driver’s license and a heart for helping others
  • Willingness to earn certifications in First Aid, CPR, CPI/WELLE, and MAP within 3 months
  • A basic understanding of Microsoft Word — or a willingness to learn!

Why Join Us?

Because here, you’ll matter. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values diversity, collaboration, and continuous learning. We offer:

· Health, dental & vision insurance

· 401(k) retirement savings plan

· Paid vacation, holidays, personal and sick time

· Tuition reimbursement & training funds

· A culture that celebrates YOU — your story, your identity, and your impact
