We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic clinical team. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care within a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients in our outpatient program.
- Deliver treatment using Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) tailored to client needs.
- Incorporate mindfulness and meditation techniques into therapeutic work.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain timely documentation in accordance with OASAS and agency standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support client recovery and wellness.
- Participate in case conferences, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
- NYS licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or permit-eligible).
- Experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment required.
- Strong knowledge of Evidence-Based Practices (CBT, MI, etc.).
- Training or demonstrated experience in mindfulness and meditation practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
