Welcome to the team! The Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort is looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic bar staff. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring a pleasant environment for our guests. Your friendly and welcoming personality is essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere in the bar. You should be well-versed in a variety of cocktails and drinks, and have a good understanding of spirits, wines, and beers. If you are passionate about bartending and have exceptional customer service skills, we would love to have you join our team!

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities


Greet customers warmly and take their beverage orders • Ask customers if they would like to view a menu • Serve drinks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages • Check identification of customers when necessary • Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions • Prepare garnishes for drinks • Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, ice, paper products, and other supplies • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks • Ensure cleanliness of bar area and equipment • Follow health and safety guidelines for handling food and beverage items • Maintain accurate inventory of bar supplies • Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner • Keep up-to-date on product availability and specials.


Job Requirements


Must be available Thursday to Sunday from 4PM to 11PM.


Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks • Ability to work with a cash register and handle money • Ability to prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays • Ability to lift and carry heavy trays of drinks • Ability to remain calm and professional during peak hours • Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails • Ability to work well with others as part of a team • Knowledge of local and state liquor laws • Ability to follow health and safety regulations • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
