A contract opportunity is available in Escondido, CA, to provide specialized support within an elementary school setting. This role focuses on delivering mental health and social work services tailored to students' individual needs, including potential 1:1 care and therapeutic support. The position offers flexibility to accommodate shifts in support requirements across different age groups throughout the school year.

Key qualifications include:

  • Possession of a California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Candidates holding AMFT or LMSW credentials will also be considered based on experience.
  • Experience working with children or youth in school environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Adaptability to flexible scheduling due to varying demand for student support services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Assess and address the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of elementary school students.
  • Provide individual and family counseling services, crisis intervention, and case management as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with educators and other school personnel to develop and implement support plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation compliant with professional and school regulations.
  • Adjust support strategies to meet evolving student age groups and requirements.
