Seeking Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) for Private Practice
Solace Therapy is currently seeking a Mental Health Counselor Limited Permit holder to join our growing team. We are a New York based virtual private practice made up of a team of diverse clinicians. The position is a full time W2 contracted position including PTO, health insurance, CEU credits and more. One of the aims of Solace Therapy is provide a safe and support environment for clinicians to strive in.

Responsibilities and Expectations of Candidate

• Conduct individual counseling and/or couples counseling
• Experience working in Private Practice
• Complete progress notes within 24 hours after the scheduled session time
• Develop and execute treatment plans
• Complete initial intake assessment
• Document all correspondence with clients
• Communicate for scheduling, openings, and cancellations
• Work with racially and ethnically diverse populations
• Work with LGBTQ+ populations
• Assess and manage crisis situations
• Be Familiar with the DSM V diagnostic criteria

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling prior to start date
• Must obtain a limited permit from NYS prior to start date (clinical supervision will be provided)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
