Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Lead Therapist to join our team in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This role is ideal for a licensed professional, who is passionate about delivering therapeutic interventions in a dynamic, holistic, multidisciplinary setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health and substance use disorder services This leadership role provides guidance and supervision to clinical staff, ensures high-quality, client-centered care, and fosters a collaborative, supportive environment for both clients and team members.

What You’ll Do

As a Lead Therapist, you will lead, mentor, and support a team of clinicians working in Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for both Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders. This role involves:

Providing individual and group supervision to clinicians and case managers.
Conduct regular reviews of clinical records to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
Conducting Biopsychosocial Intake Assessments
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
Provide training and mentorship to staff on best practices in mental health and substance use disorder treatment and crisis management.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring effective communication among all team members.
Managing crises and implementing intervention strategies.
Collaborating with referring providers and partner agencies.
Analyze clinical data and outcomes to identify trends and areas for improvement to make informed decisions and enhance the quality of care.

What We’re Looking For

Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
Licensure: Active LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD or equivalent in California.
Experience: At least five years of clinical experience
Two or more years in a leadership position and/or oversight of clinical staff
Experience with substance use disorders required.
Proven experience in facility administration, program management, and staff supervision.
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, clinical best practices, and ethical standards in substance abuse treatment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of work.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision -making skills
