Paws & Play Pet Resort & Training Center, Westchester County's premier pet care business, has an immediate opening for a full-time Pet Care Manager that shares the same enthusiasm for dogs and high standards of pet care.

We’re an award-winning, family-owned business and have been providing superior pet care since 2011. We provide high-quality services, including pet lodging, doggie daycare, grooming, and professional dog training services.

We're seeking an enthusiastic, proven, and motivated leader who works hard, inspires and trains others to provide top-notch customer service, and helps ensure excellent, safe pet care.

Does This Sound Like You?

• Knowledgeable in dog behavior and dog health
• Prior management experience in a pet care-related industry
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management skills, & attention to detail
• Ability to handle busy daily schedule and ensure completion of daily goals
• Ability to consistently hold individuals accountable when necessary
• Leads by example by being a professional and respectful example for the team
• Not afraid to step in and get your hands dirty when needed

Duties

• Train and assure procedural compliance with staff members
• Resolving any dog and client issues in a positive, professional manner
• Interviewing and hiring of new staff members
• Continually coach, motivate, and train employees
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance and address issues as appropriate
• Scheduling PT & FT staff members

Candidates who are successful in this position may have kennel manager, veterinary practice manager, animal care, or pet care manager experience. Candidates with a strong record of management success in alternate fields will also be considered.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
