The Wisdom Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Program Director to oversee its daily operations, increase awareness of our services in the community and ensure that the highest quality of care is provided to our members. The candidate we seek must be passionate about supporting and enriching the lives of the elderly and adults with disabilities, and have excellent leadership, organizational and management skills.
Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Nursing or related field; Master's degree preferred or licensed RN.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience managing an ADHC, senior services, or other health care related program.
- Familiarity with the needs and challenges faced by the elderly and adults with disabilities
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor staff
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems and Google Suite.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the Adult Day Health Care Program, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, California state regulations and guidelines.
- Hire, train and supervise a diverse staff of professionals, including social workers, nurses, program aides, therapists and administrative personnel.
- Develop staff training programs and ensure all staff members are knowledgeable and compliant with the most up-to-date best practices.
- Implement strategies and initiatives to promote positive participant experiences, engagement, and satisfaction in the ADHC program.
- Monitor and regularly audit member charts and documentation, including care plans, progress notes, flow sheets and other reporting requirements, and address any concerns or issues.
- Respond to family and caregiver inquiries and concerns, acting as a liaison between the Adult Day program and its greater community
- Address and resolve any performance or personnel issues within the ADHC team, and ensure all staff adhere to company policies and procedures
- Oversee nutrition services and CACFP program.
- Ensure reports and other documentation is submitted to appropriate agencies in a timely manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,600.00 - $104,000.00 per year
