Job Location

The position is located at Everett, WA/ Seattle WA. The role involves some in-field work, including home visits within Snohomish County.

Working Hours: The position is part-time/Full Time option available

Department Social Services

Key Responsibilities

• Provide social work services to participants as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct one-on-one and group counseling and provide ongoing assistance to participants regarding social issues.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to provide perspective on the social, emotional, cognitive, and ethnic factors that impact a participant's care plan.
• Access community and financial resources for participants.
• Conduct assessments and interventions in various settings, including participants' homes.
• Manage a lot of autonomy in scheduling home visits.
• Complete modules as required.

Position Summary

This is a temp-to-perm position for a Licensed Masters of Social Worker. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with the geriatric population. The role involves direct service activities, including counseling and assessments within the center and in participants' homes. The social worker will be reimbursed for mileage and travel time between work locations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: A master's degree in social work.
• Certifications: Active BLS certification and a Licensed Masters of Social Worker (LMSW) certification.
• State-specific Licensure: One of the following licenses is required upon submission: a Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License (LSWAIC), a Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate Temporary License, a Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License (LICSW), or a Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License Temporary License.
• Temporary licensure is accepted.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in social work with the geriatric age group.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in Adult Day Care and LTC/Nursing homes.
• Charting System: Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
• First-Timers: The position is open to first-time travelers and local candidates.

• Experience in Adult Day Care and LTC/Nursing homes.
• Experience with the Epic charting system.
• Experience working with an interdisciplinary team.

Core Competencies

• Ability to work independently and manage a schedule effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and counseling skills for working with participants and other team members.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive social and emotional assessments.
• Strong communication skills.

Pay: $2,201.00 - $2,500.46 per week
