With a growing number of clients requiring medication management alongside therapy, we're seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join us as a part-time independent contractor.Job Description:We are looking for a licensed PMHNP to collaborate with our therapy team on medication management for our clients as an independent contractor (1099). This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on mental health outcomes in Utah. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management sessions.
• Collaborating with therapists to develop integrated treatment plans.
• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting medications as needed, and providing education on medication use.
• Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with Utah regulations and HIPAA.
• Participating in occasional team meetings to ensure coordinated care.

As a 1099 contractor, you will have autonomy in managing your schedule and practice while partnering closely with our counseling team. This role is ideal for a PMHNP seeking a flexible, supplemental income opportunity.Qualifications:

• Current PMHNP certification and active licensure in the state of Utah.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Utah.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric medication management.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.
• Preferred: Experience working with diverse populations, including adults, adolescents, or families.
• Must have own malpractice insurance (required for 1099 contractors).
