Behavior Technician (BT) - School Based

Wraparound ABA is looking for compassionate Behavior Technicians who are eager to make a difference in the lives of individuals impacted with neurodiversity. We will provide hands-on training and mentorship to ensure the success of our staff. Wraparound ABA is a new and fast growing organization dedicated to serving communities, families, and individuals impacted with neurodiversity. We utilize research-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support individuals in all aspects of life to

maximize their potential. We believe in assessing and treating the whole individual by "wrapping around them" with services and supports to optimize positive outcomes.

Our focus is supporting our staff across all domains (professional, materials, growth opportunities, etc.) as this is what helps to drive our students’ successes.

Job Description:

The Behavior Technician (BT) will be working 1:1 with students with developmental delays, training staff, building rapport with all stakeholders, and collecting data in the school setting in order to make significant behavioral progress toward optimized outcomes and IEP goals.

The ideal candidate would have previous experience working in ABA and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPS) in the school setting.

Requirements:

  • Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education experience preferred
  • Preferred prior experience working with kids
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle), active license and have current/active auto insurance
  • Must have current vaccinations (MMR, HEP B, Tdap, Varicella) and TB test within the last year.
  • Must pass DOJ/FBI live scan background clearance.
  • Must provide proof of physical capability including the ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, twist and lift 50

  • Paid orientation and ABA Training (Training meets requirement for Registered Behavior Technician Certification)

Job Type: Full-time (10 months)

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • School hours 8:00am-2:30pm

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Reliable transportation required. May need to drive to multiple locations in one day

Work Location: In person/ school setting
