Pay: $2500/Week
Shift: Days 5x8 40 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks initial duration
Hours: 40 guaranteed per week

Position Summary

We are seeking a Mental Health Coordinator for a travel assignment in Eden, TX. This role is responsible for planning and providing non-medical clinical mental health services within the facility. The position requires strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills to support the mental health needs of inmates while maintaining confidentiality and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through records review and clinical interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluations
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and therapeutic services
• Document all evaluations and treatments in health care records
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Apply knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience including at least 2 years in a comparable role
• Active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in the state of practice
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
