Job Title: Psychiatric Technician – Correctional Healthcare
Location: Tehachapi, CA
Pay: $55/hr

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Technician to join our team in a correctional healthcare setting. You will provide compassionate psychiatric care, assist with behavior management, monitor patients, and support treatment plans under the supervision of licensed medical staff.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide psychiatric and behavioral nursing care
• Monitor and observe patients with mental health conditions
• Administer medications and treatments under RN/MD supervision
• Assist in group/individual therapy and treatment planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and support crisis response

Qualifications:

• Active California Psychiatric Technician license (required)
• Experience in psychiatric/behavioral health or acute care preferred
• Strong observation, monitoring, and crisis management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
