Vista Pacifica Center is seeking to fulfill our position of Therapist/Counselor working within the Program Department of our Skilled Nursing Facility with a psychiatric Special Treatment Program/IMD component.

Available Shifts:

• We are looking to fill Part-Time or Contracted positions
• Flexible work schedule depending on position, 12-15 hours/week (typically Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30PM) and On Call

The ideal candidate is someone who is creative, organized and outgoing. Provides consultation and direction of unit staff. Ensures daily program is occurring as posted. Provides case management and treatment coordination for assigned residents. Participates in clinical supervision, as provided by the Program Director and consulting Psychologists. Provides group and individual psychotherapy and counseling for residents and attends treatment planning meetings weekly and at daily morning report. Communicates with families and county agencies. and completes all required documentation in the EMR as it relates to Title 22 and OBRA.

***A minimum of one year of experience or training in a mental health setting is mandatory***

***Supervision hours may be available towards licensure/certification***

***APCC, AMFT, ACSW, Recreation Therapist, Art Therapist, Dance Therapist, Music Therapist and Drug & Alcohol Counselor (CADC) disciplines all considered per regulations***
