Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients to improve their behavioral health and overall quality of life.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques and monitor client progress through data collection.
- Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and patient assessments, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in intake processes for new clients, gathering relevant information for effective treatment planning.
- Stay current with best practices in special education and behavioral health to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and the ability to analyze behavioral data effectively.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care protocols, and medical documentation practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Familiarity with special education practices is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
