What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Provide short-term crisis support and stabilizing engagement to individuals and their support networks.
• Work side-by-side with our Crisis Specialists during crisis interventions and 5150 (5585) assessments.
• Offer referrals, resources, and follow-up care to help clients access ongoing services.
• Advocate for individuals by helping them navigate mental health and social service systems.
• Participate in trainings, team meetings, and inter-agency collaborations to strengthen our community impact.

What You’ll Bring

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Lived experience with mental health challenges and recovery.

Schedule

We’re hiring two (2) full-time Peer Support Specialists to join our Monterey County MCT team. Available shifts include:

• Sunday – Thursday
• Friday – Tuesday

(Shift hours will be discussed during the interview process.)
