Compensation Packages:

• Local Candidates: $49$56 per hour

• Travel Candidates: Weekly take-home $1700$1978, equivalent to $59$69 per hour (low taxable base rate supplemented by housing and meal stipends).

Typical Duties of a School Psychologist:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments, functional behavior assessments, and evaluations

• Support IEP development and participate in eligibility meetings

• Provide counseling, intervention strategies, and crisis response

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success

• Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and Texas education policies

Requirements (Texas):

• Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

• Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP) license or eligibility

• Knowledge of MTSS, behavioral supports, and evidence-based practices
