Position: School Psychologist
Location: Denton, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract (School Year 20252026)
Compensation Packages:
Local Candidates: $49$56 per hour
Travel Candidates: Weekly take-home $1700$1978, equivalent to $59$69 per hour (low taxable base rate supplemented by housing and meal stipends).

Typical Duties of a School Psychologist:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments, functional behavior assessments, and evaluations
Support IEP development and participate in eligibility meetings
Provide counseling, intervention strategies, and crisis response
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and Texas education policies
Requirements (Texas):
Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP) license or eligibility
Knowledge of MTSS, behavioral supports, and evidence-based practices
